Dr. Ibrahim El-Osery has PhD Nuclear Engineering in Physics and Reactor Technology (1980), MSc Nuclear Engineering in Reactor Burn up Physics (1975), and BSc Nuclear Engineering (1968)
He is holder of Nobel Prize for peace in year 2005 within IAEA nuclear SG inspectors shared with the IAEA Director General at that time.
He was prime deputy minister and senior advisor for Energy and Nuclear affairs at the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy/Nuclear Power Plants Authority since year 2009, Cairo, Egypt
He is part-time teaching in the Nuclear and Radiation Engineering Department in Alexandria University, Cairo University as well as American University of Cairo and other institutions in Egypt.
He supervised many Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees and published over 55 research papers in reactor technology, nuclear fuel management, economic feasibility studies, hydrogen energy systems, and nuclear safety.
He is member in the Egyptian Nuclear Physics Society.
He is a member in the Council of the Egyptian External Affairs.
